The quality of mathematical thinking is the related intellectual performance of students in mathematical learning activities.It is mainly manifested in the flexibility,criticality,rigor and broadness of mathematical thinking.Not only the Standards for General High School Mathematics Curriculum(2017 Edition)advocates the integration of mathematics teaching and information technology to cultivate students 'mathematical thinking.Mathematical education in vocational schools also advocates the informationization of mathematics education and attaches importance to the development of students' mathematical thinking ability.Mind maps are an organizational tool for visualizing thoughts and have been used in many fields.Whether the use of mind maps in middle school mathematics teaching can promote the development of students' mathematical thinking ability is an issue that needs to be explored urgently.The purpose of this article is to apply the mind map to the mathematics classroom of the vocational school.The purpose is to verify whether the mind map can effectively improve the quality of mathematics thinking of the vocational school students.Firstly,the paper proposes mind mapping to optimize the teaching of new teaching and review courses in mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools.Secondly,the experiment of mind mapping teaching is conducted in the mathematics classroom of the second grade of secondary vocational schools.There are two classes in this experiment,the experimental class and the control class.Before the teaching experiment,interview the teacher in charge of the experiment and test the quality of mathematics thinking of the students;after nearly two months of teaching experiment,interview the teacher and the students in the experimental class again to conduct mathematics thinking of the students Quality testing.Both tests used SPSS22.0 for data analysis.The research methods of this paper include literature research method,experimental research method,case interview and teaching case method.The interviews and teaching cases are studies conducted to support teaching experiments.The research conclusions are:(1)The use of mind maps to optimize secondary vocational mathematics teaching is effective in improving the quality of secondary school students' mathematical thinking.(2)The use of mind maps to optimize secondary vocational mathematics teaching can help teachers grasp the students' thinking process.(3)The use of mind maps to optimize secondary vocational mathematics teaching can enhance students 'learning initiative and cultivate students' thinking vitality.(4)The use of mind maps to optimize secondary vocational mathematics teaching can also help students to comprehensively and carefully consider problems and form good thinking habits.
