Ideal is a good mental condition what everybody should have,and the belief is a powerful spiritual force that encourage people to try to achieve their ideal. Ideal and belief education is one of the most important elements on current educational work which plays a crucial role on students'growth and success. The secondary technical vocational school students are in a critical period of growth. They are full of vitality and dare to innovate. They formed a strong reserve force of the socialist construction. An effective ideal and belief education could enable them to be more proactive in enhancing their varied abilities and better contributing to the society. In recent years, ideal and belief education research has made some achievements. But the academia pay more attention on the college students on this question. We still have some problems to be solved in the secondary vocational school students' ideals and beliefs education. As for this, the study investigated the existing problem of secondary technical vocational school students' ideal and belief education through surveys and practice and proposed appropriate countermeasures.The main content of this paper can be divided into five parts:the first part is introduction. This part summarizes the research achievements of the secondary vocational school students' ideals and beliefs education and puts forward the topic basis, the research meanings, the research purposes, the research methods and emphasis, difficulties and innovations, including the practical significances of the secondary vocational school students' ideals and beliefs education. The second part is the presentations of the core concepts. This part describes the basic concepts involved in this paper. The third part is the status research. This part summarizes the main problems of the secondary vocational school students' ideals and beliefs education through integrating the survey and practical research results. The fourth part is the reasons analyzing. This part dissects the incentives of those problems have been found from four aspects of students, schools, families and the society. The fifth part is countermeasures investigating. According to the causes of existing problems of the secondary vocational school students' ideals and beliefs education, the following strategies are putted forward:setting up specialized courses, updating the educational concept, innovating the educational contents, strengthening to build the teams, improving education methods for the secondary vocational school students' ideals and beliefs education.
