This paper discusses one of the teaching modes under the constructivism and cognitive flexibility theory:Random Access Instruction. It emphasizes the creation of learning environments for students with cognitive flexibility, and then repeat entry way to provide students with knowledge of the face under different scenarios, in order to improve students’ ability to apply knowledge to solve practical problems. And this paper had carried out to explore the practical application research of three types of random access instruction by three classes:1. random access instruction under constructivist.2.random access instruction under natural circumstances.3.random access instruction generated pedagogical tact. And its processes are described in detail. In this research, experimental study conducted in a manner. This paper carried out some discussion about the study results.In the background of the new curriculum, students need to change the way of learning, teachers teaching methods also need change. Teaching methods for each teaching mode has the typical characteristics of the mode, the biggest feature of random access instruction to provide students with multiple perspectives of cognitive style, the flexibility to build non-linear structure of knowledge. random access instruction has been widely used in the domestic computer, music, art and other classroom but the chemistry, though it had some research about theory of its instruction design. but it’s value in teaching has not been proven. First of all, this paper made a meaningful analysis of the research status at home and abroad, secondly, the research question has carried on the detailed description. Finally, the essence of this research work has carried on the preliminary arrangement to ensure the smooth implementation the whole research process.In this paper, theoretical basis of random access instruction is described in detail, such as: constructivist view of knowledge, instruction and learning, but also defined the ill-structure domain, cognitive flexibility hypertext concepts., a certain description of the connotation and basic aspects of random access instruction, etc. next, the basic situation of students studying chemistry conducted a questionnaire survey, which mainly set the problem from the aspects of chemistry student learning, interest in learning, as well as students’basic knowledge, using SPSS software for data analysis, thus proving the feasibility of the implementation of random access instruction. In addition, explaining the necessity of random access instruction from the perspective of New Curriculum Reform. Then the research carried out a detailed, simple, rough description of the corresponding to the new lesson, recitation, recitation of three type of random access instruction practical teaching process, and explained the connotation of random access instruction; The results of validation of random access instruction practice process, primarily through interviews, t-test and comparing the experimental data confirm the random access instruction in chemistry learning interest, chemistry learning, active classroom atmosphere, etc, has important practical value.Though random access instruction experiment, this paper got the conclusion as follows:1.verified the practical value of random access instruction. Through the experimental teaching two classes, two classes of experimental results were compared and analyzed. all aspects of experimental classes outperformed control classes, random access instruction has great practical value. which can be extended to the whole process of the high school chemistry teaching.2.random access instruction can improve the effectiveness of teaching chemistry. It mainly measured from academic record, after-school question, job evaluation, etc. and proved to improve the effectiveness of teaching.3.random access instruction is in favor of building a harmonious and intimate teacher-student relationship. In the process of random access instruction, focusing on students’ ability to cooperate. Not only is the cooperation between students, also including the interaction between teachers and students. in the learning process of students, increased the opportunities for communication and exchange between teachers and students, which is conducive to positive between the two sides.In the process of research, the author has some new confusion on the random access instruction, such as:1.is there whether a relationship between teacher’s teaching style and the effect of random access instruction? If true, what kind of relationship?2. How is the relevance between the whole basis of the original level of the students and the effect of implementation of random access instruction?3. How to develop the related scientific measurement tools, etc. these confusions provides some direction to relevant research of random access instruction in the future.
