With the development of high-speed network, dataprocessing delay of Target become the communication bottleneck of FCoE network,urgent neet to study an efficient target data processing methods, in order to meet thehigh-speed variety of storage needs.Analysis the level structure and content of the FC protocol and FCoE protocol.Explain Initiator and Target communication mode. Complete the design andImplementation of the the FCoE Target drive, Target can correctly login to FCoEend-to-end network, and establish a stable and reliable FCoE connection with the initiator.the initiator can mount and access the Target SCSI storage devices through the FCoEprotocol.Provide jumboframes transmission mode for end-to-end network, by increasing themaximum transmission length of frame to reduce the number of network packets, reducethe processing overhead of the network equipment, so improve network utilization andtransfer rate. Support the generic receive offload and zero-copy technology, optimizenetwork data receive path, reduce data copying between different levels of kernel memory,reduce delay of the FCoE target side write request The test results show that thejumboframes, generic receive offload and zero-copy optimization methods can enhance30%throughput of Target. |
