With the continuous development of the Internet,it has become a trend to implement network communication protocols on SOC systems.The system design in this paper is based on the self-designed SOC board and implements an Ethernet control system for hybrid networks.The hybrid network system combines Ethernet communication with a fiber channel network to take advantage of the low cost of Ethernet and the fast transmission rate of the fiber channel network.This article first describes the background of the Ethernet protocol,SOC system on chip,and uIP protocol stack,and then investigates the development of the Ethernet protocol and the current status of the MAC protocol at home and abroad.The necessary theoretical basis of the protocol and TCP / IP protocol are introduced.Based on the principle of the Ethernet communication system,this paper builds the system using software and hardware collaborative design.The hardware circuit implements the Ethernet protocol through the MAC controller.The MAC controller mainly includes seven functional modules: bus interface module,data receiving module,data sending module,flow control module,MII module,and register module.In addition,this paper analyzes the timing of the AXI bus between the MAC controller and the processor unit.The uIP protocol stack transplanted by the software part provides the upper layer communication protocol part of the network protocol,and provides the upper layer application interface and hardware driver interface for users.This design writes a hardware driver according to the characteristics of the MAC controller,realizes the interaction between the uIP protocol stack and the MAC controller,and writes the corresponding application function according to the control requirements of the system on the node.The construction of a hybrid network system takes video data transmission as an example.Among them,the PC host realizes the transmission control of each node through the Ethernet communication system,and the video data is exchanged between the nodes through the fiber channel network.The hardware part of the hybrid network system includes video transmission channels,optical fiber data channels,and Ethernet channels,and the software part includes timer interrupt processing,DMA interrupt processing,VDMA interrupt processing,and uIP polling detection mechanism.Through the command information of the PC,the video data transmission and reception of each terminal are controlled.At the end of this article,the wireshark tool and NetAssist network debugging assistant are used to test the connection of the Ethernet system to confirm that it can correctly receive the information commands and realize the Ethernet system's control of the fiber channel network transmission.
