Electronic data communications and Internet media technology in the world ofelectronic information technology has made rapid development background is alsorapidly enhance the wave of the information industry, coupled with the increasingdemand for multimedia information, it leads directly to the enthusiasm of videoconferencing technologyto study the development and application. As videoconferencing is mainly relying on the transmission of interactive multimediainformation, which specific requirements related to data compression, and protocolstandards. Currently, the popularity of Gigabit Ethernet introduction of videoconferencing technology for the company to provide the basic conditions, furtherbuilding on the company intranet, mainly concentrated in the optimized networkservices, multimedia teaching and training in the use of technology, and the use ofmultimedia data auxiliary research and so on.This thesis is mainly established by the International Telecommunication Union’sH.323protocol-based, taking fully into account the unique nature of the enterprise videoconferencing and design of an interactive video conference system based on theenterprise LAN environment. In order to achieve the relevant functional modules aswell as the operability of the system, I design a combination of User Datagram Protocoland Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Interconnection Agreement reliability;taking full account of the system can be expanded space, in order to safeguard the futureincrease the feasibility of video and audio terminals; addition, in order to meet the needsof corporate diversification video teaching, academic discussions and meetings, etc., thesystem also takes advantage of the related technology of computer-supportedcooperative work, in order to protect the system of co-processing.In this thesis, the author reviews the course of development of video conferencingand its research, analysis of the prospects for the development of a video conferencingsystem as well as the subject of research value. Based on the analysis of the demand formulti-point video conferencing systems analysis, the author discusses the relatedtechnologies, and also the preliminary design of a video conferencing system, andcomplete functionality and performance testing.
