Domestic power grid enterprises have carried out many cost-saving activities to cope with changes in external circumstances since the2008international financial crisis and debt crisis in Europe. Strict control of non-productive expenditure, especially controllable costs like finance charges has achieved remarkable results. Because of the macroeconomic situation, grid power enterprises still suffer sustainable losses. Although the losses result from tariff policy, it does bring about the problem that grid power enterprises to some extent are not strong enough to resist external risks and lack of self-development. Grid enterprises need integration of resources to cope with the tough situation. Implementation of financial intensive management helps to improve the management level and sustainable development.Based on the situation of grid power enterprises, this article analyzes the problems of operation funds management in grid power enterprises, by comparing domestic grid enterprises with international ones. This article goes along with a case study of one grid enterprise. It established a complete capital intensive control model on the hypothesis of centralized bank account mode. This thesis describes the typical scenarios of electricity companies, which helps leading to supervision and management mechanism. It also brings about some operable programs for capital intensive management, which can be referred to by other grid companies.
