Produce supply and demand information, an important agricultural information resource, plays an essential role in produce market information. With the rapid development and wide application of electronic commerce technology, produce sales tend to be carried on through the network, which is actually welcomed by growing number of suppliers and demanders. At present, network release platform related to this kind of information is increasing gradually, which will lead to its wide spread through the network sooner or later. Therefore, it is claimed that research into the intelligent matching between and model for produce supply and demand information is vital to its sale informalization.Two-sided Matching Theory, an important branch of economics, is of great value in the match field of supply and demand information. It has been successfully applied in abroad in fields like employment matching, college entrance examination admission matching, and hospital practice matching and so on. The matching of produce supply and demand information needs to take into account various factors, which has a lot in common with the application of Two-sided Matching Theory. The author probes into the related concepts and models of this theory and further applies its relevant models and algorithms to the studies on produce supply and demand information. In this thesis, examples of produce supply and demand information are initially analyzed and then an integration model is constructed based on its characteristics. Besides, the classification of different attributes factors in this model that have an effect on matching is conducted. According to the matching requirements of this theory, the author deals with the matching satisfaction value of produce supply and demand information, its corresponding quantification methods and its ranking mechanism as well. Moreover, the matching algorithm of produce supply and demand information is designed on the basis of Two-sided Matching Theory by improving its matching algorithms. Furthermore, the author does a comparative study between the matching algorithm based on Two-sided Matching Theory and that proposed in Linear Programming Theory. At last, the author collects the related experimental data and further conducts a simulation experiment by applying the match algorithm put up with in this thesis. The feasibility and superiority of the application of Two-sided Matching Theory to produce supply and demand information is revealed by results.
