Research On Risk Of Project Finance Lease In The Standpoint Of Lessor

Project finance lease is a special method to finance fund.The lessee sign lease contract with the lessor,with the property of the financing project and the benefits that the financing project generates as payment guarantee.Huge amount of investment,a long repayment period and many unpredictable factors in investment payback period, all of these features means project finance lease full of risk factors.Once on of the risk factors occurs, the lessor’s losses are often immeasurable. High-risk of project finance leases to some extent become the bottleneck in the development of project finance lease business. Project finance lease is full of risks and challenges, and thus project finance lease risk identification, risk assessment, risk prevention and control research, the lessor’s risk control mechanisms improvement, which can promote China’s finance lease industry development and its re-emergence.Firstly the paper briefly describes project finance leases and explore the risk characteristics of project finance leases.After comparing three commonly used methods of risk identification, the expert research method is finally choosed to identify risk factors of project financing leases.According to these risk factors risk evaluation index system of project finance lease is built. The Analysis of Network Process is used to determine the index weight.Based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, comprehensive risk assessment model is built. Then this paper describes risk control strategies of project leasing financing from the macro-and micro perspective and introduces real options in operating phase risk control.Finally the paper takes a project finance lease for example to empirical study and disusses the universal applicability of research model.
