Three decades of reform and opening up, the urbanization process is promoted by one by one big construction site in modern China. The tens of millions of construction migrant workers have been building rich and beautiful and prosperous city, and have been abandoned by the city at the same time. This paper attempts to analysis of the daily life of the world on the construction site of migrant workers, to explore the performance of alienation of the construction migrant workers and try to find out its social reasons, meanwhile, deliver human caring for migrant workers’rights to live better in urban area.Therefore, I part in-depth a construction site in Shanghai by way of participant observation, collecting the materials of daily life through skills of observation, interviews, experience. I make effort to explore the alienation of China’s current construction migrant workers based on learning from the mature Western sociological study of alienation but paying attention to the local community future. This article centimeters of seven chapters, the first chapter is an introduction to introduce the background of this study, the research questions, purpose and significance; Chapter Ⅱ tells the existing literature research, a detailed review of the current domestic migrant workers, along with full aspects of the theoretical and empirical studies on alienation of Western Sociology; I described methodology of gathering information in chapter III; In chapter IV I begin to show the social isolation of the construction workers in relationships, work, order, technical and other aspects; Chapter V presents the powerlessness of the construction workers in working and living; Chapter6discusses the anomie world of construction workers and meaning systems; last chapter draws conclusions.The findings are that the construction migrant workers appeared major alienation, such as social isolation, powerlessness and anomie, according to the meaning of the five dimensions of alienation, but there are no meaningless and self-estrangement. Emotional sustenance of the family, hope for children, expectations of career, local relations transplantation as strength and meaning systems all support their survival in the plight, the construction migrant workers formed the resistance forces on alienation, so that farmers workers have not been completely alienated.
