With the rapid development of economic, the enterprise are requested to be able to timelyfind the opportunity, meet the threats and challenges, in the dynamic economic environment.And having a certain strategic flexibility has become the key of enterprise survival anddevelopment. How to improve strategic flexibility is a deep topic faced by enterprisemanagement practice, which has also become a focus of the academic research in recentyears.Top management team as the core of enterprise strategic leadership is considered themainly "catalyst" to acquire competitive advantage through the strategic flexibility. To a largeextent, whether the enterprise can benefit from strategic flexibility, depends on the topmanagement team’s master on "degree" of change abilityReview scholars to top management team’s research, the perspective mainly focus onUpper echelons theory concerning of top management team characteristic, cognitive mode,values and the team process etc. In dynamic environment, the capacity of top management teamsocial capital immediately influence enterprise acquisition for resources and information,whichmay help successfully deal with all sorts of threat or seize opportunities.At present mostscholars focus on research on impact of social capital of top management team on enterpriseperformance, but influence research of social capital of top management team on strategicflexibility has not been systematacially discussed.This paper is to research on impact of topmanagement team on strategic flexibility in social capital angle.This paper based on Upper echelons theory, social capital theory, organization learningtheory and strategic flexibility theory, introducing organizational learning as a intervening variable, and constructs the social capital of top management team to the enterprise strategicflexibility influence relation model. It expounds the top management team social capital tostrategic flexibility in specific impact way from the view of theoretical model, and puts forwardthe hypothesis. While this paper collect data through the questionnaire survey form, and madestatistics test to model assumptions with the aid of SPSS software.Then verify relationshipbetween the top management team social capital and strategic flexibility. This paper makeinfluence path analysis using structural equation model, and construct artificial neural networknonlinear model using the multi-layer perceptron neurons, So that we can make more accuratequantitative research on relationgship between top management team social capital andenterprise strategic flexibility in different model.Finally, this paper puts forward somemanagement Suggestions on how to improve enterprise’s strategic flexibility according to theresults of the study.
