It is announced in the seventh session of the sixth conference of Hebei province, thatShijiazhuang was identified to be promoted as the third leader in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area(the BTJ3rd pole project), and corresponding development strategy of the middle-southeconomic area is decided to be implied. Hence means to maximize Shijiazhuang’s leader effectwhile launching the BTJ3rd pole project and related development strategy became the coreconcern of the Hebei government and its committee. The Shijiazhuang HIZ has been recognizedas a typical national standard regional high-tech growth pole, and defined as a crucial area in thehigh-tech industry in Shijiazhuang and even the whole Hebei province. For the HIZ takes adominate position in the BTJ3rd pole project, investigations to stimulate interactions betweenthe Shijiazhuang HIZ and the BTJ3rd pole project are developing into a main research purposeto the public. Therefore, this dissertation is aimed at exploring interactions between theShijiazhuang HIZ and the BTJ3rd pole project, from both the academic perspective and thepractical angle.The following dissertation adopts the gray-correlation-analysis model as its main researchmethod. By combining literature review and primary research, research results about interactionsbetween Shijiazhuang HIZ and the BTJ triode project is presented. This dissertation starts with abrief introduction about the achievements gained through promotions of interactions betweenHTZ and regional development. It develops through a comprehensive literature review aboutrelated theories and scholars published before. The main body is constructed by four parts.Firstly, a research regarding interactions between the Shijiazhuang HIZ and the BTJ triodeproject is conducted, through the synergy theory, the value-chain, and the theory of industrialagglomeration. It analyzes the interactions from four perspectives, which are area, function,industry, and key elements. Secondly, correlations between Shijiazhuang HIZ’s development stage and the opportunities of interactions are examined under the industrial life cycle model.Thirdly, an evaluation about possible effects that different industry (in Shijiazhuang HIT) andtheir production inputs may arouse is lead, by an adoption of the gray-correlation-analysis model.Fourthly, based on Porter’s diamond model, influencing factors existed in interactions betweenShijiazhuang HIZ and the BTJ3rd pole project are identified. Merged theories and researchundertaken, this dissertation concludes with providing constructive recommendations on makingfurther improvements of interactions between the HIZ and BTJ3rd pole project, as well asexpressing the author’s vision of a positive business loop.
