In this paper, based on explore strategic theory of the status quo of the cement industry athome and abroad, combined with the internal and external environment faced by the TangshanJidong Cement Company Limited, and conducted in-depth study of its strategic management toinvestigate the implementation of the program for the development of the company’s competitivestrategy.First, the analysis of the current situation of the development of the cement industry athome and abroad, refining the characteristics of the industry and future trends, which laid thefoundation for clear understanding of the development of the enterprise space, to pinpoint itsdevelopment positioning.Secondly, through the use of Porter’s five forces model analysis of corporate externalenvironment, seen opportunities than threats facing development outlook seen; analysis of theinternal environment, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages of its internal developmentpotentiallarger, competitive strategy should be developed to adapt to the external environmentconducive to play internal strengths.Again, summed up the advantages of the enterprise is to scale, layout, resources, capital,technology, industry collaboration, industry integration advantage, comprehensive capabilities;company’s disadvantage is that the individual regional market less competitive, ultra-high-speeddevelopment of dispersed resources, science and technology R&Dsingle basis of weakmanagement, lack of international experience; enterprises facing policy, market integration,international opportunities facing competitors, excess capacity, market demand is likely to entera downward spiral threats and pressure on the development of energy saving and environmentalprotectionrisk. SWOT analysis, enterprises should choose a mixed strategy for the developmentof competition.Finally, in order to ensure the Jidong Cement competitive strategy to be enforced on itsimplementation of the measures is discussed, from to enhance marketing network, reduceproduct costs, improve product continuous improvement and innovation ability are discussed,and thus improve the Jidong Cementcompetitive strategy system.
