The successful communication between the secretary and leadership iscritical for the secretary to effectively carry out his/her work. It is an urgent andtough problem in actual work for the secretary to work out and grasp somecommunication principles which help improve their communication techniquesin order to fulfill his/her auxiliary role of leadership. There are, however, fewdeep researches focusing on communication principles between secretary andleadership both at home and abroad. The subject of this paper is thecommunication between the secretary and leadership. This paper indicates thatsome communication principles between secretary and leadership should befollowed; and the communication methods should be different for differentpurposes, different environment, and different communication objects. Thereare four sections of the paper, section one covers communication summary,section two covers communication and coordination skills between secretaryand leadership, section three covers communication methods and analysis ongeneral communication obstacles, and section four covers the qualities requiredfor a secretary to effectively communicate with leadership. The paper finallyindicates that secretaries should continually improve their qualities in order toeffectively communicate with leaders and hence further the work carried out.
