As the core of higher vocational secretary major courses,Secretary Writing devotes itself to train high quality and skilled talents. However, the traditional teaching mode of secretary writing tends to attach more importance to the study of theoretical knowledge more than the cultivation of writing practices and professional ability. Due to that, it is very difficult for the students to use their writing theories to meet the needs of secretary writing situation. In order to change this situation, although secretary writing teachers of higher vocational secretary major began to use situational teaching model, but with little success. So, what situational teaching is? What are the theoretical basis and typical mode of situational teaching? what about the problems during the practice of secretary writing of higher vocational secretary major? What is the cause of the problem? How in the higher vocational secretary professional secretary writing teaching situation teaching implementation, in order to achieve the ideal teaching effect? With those problems, the author has carried on the research for many years.This paper mainly discusses the author’s viewpoint from the following five aspects. The first part is the introduction with the contents of the question proposing, the research significance, research status, research ideas and research methods; The second part is the situational teaching theory analysis about the secretary professional writing, which makes an interpretation mainly from the concept of situational teaching, theoretical basis of situational teaching, the typical model of situational teaching; The third part is about the investigation and analysis of the current situation of secretary writing in higher vocational secretary major. First of all, the paper shows the situational teaching designing and implementation of the survey of professional secretary writing. by analyzing the survey results, it discusses the existing problems and the reasons in the situational writing teaching of the higher vocational secretary major; The fourth part introduces the strategies of situational teaching in secretary writing in higher vocational secretary major, which elaborates the main idea from the four aspects as follows: the selection of teaching resources, the creation of teaching content, the design of teaching process and the optimization of teaching evaluation, and so on. The fifth part is the application and effect of situational teaching in secretary writing in higher vocational secretary major, mainly according to the Professional situation, to carry out the real situation teaching 、by virtue of the media platform, to carry out simulated situational teaching and analyses the applied effect of situational teaching,and so on.Finally, in the conclusion part, the paper points out that the situation teaching will, as always, to explore and strive to achieve the most effective achievement of situation teaching.
