The current grid construction can not meet the needs of social economicdevelopment; especially the weakness of the rural power grid structure, unable to fullymeet the electricity demand of the development of agriculture and farmers’ daily lifesituation is more prominent. Constantly improving the rural power grid andstrengthening the construction of rural electrification is an urgent and arduous task,especially for food sovereignty producing areas, should be paid the intensity of greatattention, given the support of the rural power policy to speed up the construction ofrural electrification.This paper spread of further research based on this background. However, with the improvementof China’s rural modernization construction constantly, the rising of the speed of population growth continually and the increasing demand for food led to farmlandreducing, soil erosion seriously, water reducing, difficulty of graining production offood. Therefore, transforming rural power grid, improving irrigation facilities, meetingirrigation electricity demand of major grain producing areas, is an effective measure toensure the food security. Reducing power costs and increasing the farmers’ income isthe important guarantee of food security.
