With the prevalence of global manufacturing and the rapid development ofnetwork technology, the competition between enterprises has gradually become acompetition between the supply chains. Supply chain management has become animportant mean to the enterprise to enhance competitiveness and obtain thecompetitive advantage. The automotive manufacturing industry as one of the pillarindustries of Chinese economy, strengthen the supply chain risk assessment and earlywarning work of the automobile manufacturing industry have much more practicalsignificance.This paper first introduces the theory of supply chain risk management, andcombining the characteristics of Chinese automobile manufacturing industry, in-depthanalysis the risk factors of the automobile manufacturing supply chain. Based on theselected index system of supply chain risk, analyzed the correlation between thevarious process risks, and assessed the whole and the process risk of automobilemanufacturing supply chain with the method of Copula function estimation. Then takethe automobile manufacturing company for example and analyzed the feasibility ofthe method. The results showed that the resulting risk data of this method is muchcloser to the actual risk level. In the risk warning part, analysis the composition andstructure of the automobile manufacturing supply chain risk warning system, thenmake use of the signal lights method and based on a specific instance of anautomobile manufacturing enterprise. Finally, designed a warning system of thesupply chain processes risk and overall risk. On the one hand, the conclusion canreflect the process risk, avoiding failed to take timely and effective measures tosupply chain process risk and lead to the collapse of the supply chain. On the otherhand, selected the t-Copula function to estimate the overall supply chain risk value, itnot only to be able to make risk estimation much closer to reality level, but also avoidthe situation of the various process risk is small but the overall supply chain risk valueis big. Then, indicated the automobile manufacturing enterprise risk warningworkflow. Finally, summarized the paper and put forward the main innovations andresearch prospects of the paper. The conclusion of this paper theoretically enrichedthe relevant content and the application scope of the supply chain management. Inpractice, it is the basis for the automobile manufacturing enterprise managers to makedecisions. Also it can make automobile manufacturing managers found the risk as early as possible, and to take measures in advance to minimize the loss, to promotethe rapid development of Chinese automobile manufacturing industry. It has apositive and practical significance for smoothly the structural adjustment of theautomobile manufacturing industry, and to safeguard the stability of the automobilemanufacturing supply chain.
