As the core business of port, port logistics plays an increasingly important role in economic globalization and industrial concentration. Port logistics has delivered resources to sharing through the ocean transportation which distribute in different space in the world. The researches both home and aboard showed that port is a driving power to promote the regional economy to go forward. With mutual transportations intersecting in port, it gathered large quantities of goods, promoting the prosperity of local economy.This thesis systematically expounded the connotation and characteristics of port logistics. Moreover, the current situation and development strategy of port logistics both home and abroad would be summarized, and the defect would be pointed out in the process of Chinese port logistics. Then, focus on analyzing the influence of the port logistics investment, labor, technology and other factors in the port logistics growth process.In this thesis, regional port economic output, the investment of port economic zone, the quantity of employees and technical efficiency would be applied to structure a C-D production function based on the Solow model. Collect the data of Shandong peninsula blue economic zone from2002to2011, and fit the various and the total scale of the port economy. Subsequently, find out the production function between independent and dependent variables, and so to evaluate the impact of port logistics factors to the growth of port logistics. Finally, development strategy and advice based on both the qualitative description and the former quantitative investigation would be put forward to realize the sustainable growth of port logistics.
