As domestic mobile phone market has become saturated with an increasinglyfierce competition, phone manufacturers differentiate positioning of their products toopen a broader market and enhance brand value so as to satisfy various consumergroups. The fact that mobile phones on the market update faster and faster and newproducts come out constantly in recent years has resulted in a correspondingshortened product life cycle. In order to meet volatile market demand, manymanufacturers are adopting multi-specification and small-batch production strategy. Inorder to get adapted to characteristics of such practices, research and optimization offield management system become an urgently important task for company’s mode ofproduction reform in manufacturing. Since lean production can put company at alower cost with best quality and fastest delivery to meet customers’ needs, thisarticle therefore takes a company of mobile phone industry as an example to study onlean production.This article starts with basic theories of site management and lean manufacturing,together with just-in-time production theory and practical applications combined withhow enterprises work. A study of the JIT mode of production is made based on onemobile phone manufacturing enterprise and theoretical research on JIT sitemanagement, and the advantages and disadvantages of JIT production management.Firstly, this article makes a detailed analysis on the status of site management systemcombining characteristics and actual operating mode, organization schema andbusiness process, to analyze problems and challenges company production faces insite job process, logistics, information flow, production efficiency, quality problemand personnel configuration.Secondly, based on site management analysis of existed problems and challenges,framework of organization and personnel configuration reform are made incombination of JIT production system and implementation of lean manufacturing toachieve the target of Seven zero limit. At the same time actually improving andoperating the scene5S management, logistics management, production layout andefficient production management in M Company. To lay a solid foundation for achieving JIT, effective analysis and control have been conducted on products designlink, purchase link and production quality problems.Last, this article takes implementation of seven goals of zero defect as startingpoint, and makes in-depth analysis of factors that affect current problems of sitemanagement. By strengthening site management and warehouse management, we canoptimize work process and reduce inventory waste. These changes directly reduceproduction cost, improve production efficiency, and will lay a solid foundation forcompany profit.This research helps enterprises promote lean production by achieving practicalapplication of JIT production, providing specific improvement measures for actualoperation. With a theoretical study actual operation optimization in company toachieve significant results, and discuss the lean production management.
