About China And Mongolia In Developing The Strategy To Promote Cross-sea Channel Of Conception

With the growing scale of the Regional Economic Development and International Trade, transportation infrastructure must be strengthened. And we should breakthrough in the bottlenecks of regional cooperation and development in The Tumen River Area. Thoroughfare through China and Mongolia is a railway which start from Choibalsan of Mongolia, via Aershan, Baicheng, Changchun, Jilin, Hunchun and other important railwaynode cities, to the ports of Russia and North Korea in the Sea of Japan. The Thoroughfare go through the Tumen River Economic Cooperation Zone.The Thoroughfare go through Changjitu Development and Opening-up Pilot Zone, and it is a important project in Jilin Province. Changjitu Development and Opening-up Pilot Zone is the first pilot area in Jilin Province, and China relies on Changjitu pilot area to promote regional cooperation in the Tumen River Zone. So Changjitu pilot area is up to a national strategy.At present, there are two key projects in the Thoroughfare through China and Mongolia. China and Mongolia cooperate to build railway from Aershan, via Songbeier Port, to Choibalsan. And China and Mongolia cooperate to use Russia’s port. Two mountain railway is the preferred solution in the four lines of UNDP’s China and Mongolia railway pre-feasibility study. The aim is to use the port in Russia and railway lines in China.Aiming at understanding the Thoroughfare exhaustive, we should analyze background, determine Hunchun as Mongolian sea gate, build the railway between Choybalsan and Arxan as quickly as possible, promote Mongolian international trade. And we advise administration of the two countries cooperate to construct, create atmosphere benefit commerce, promote the coordinated development of economy and environment, ensure the region’s sustainable development.
