Strategic Survey In China Mongolia And Russia Economic Corridor

September 11, 2014, in the summit conference of China,Mongolia and Russia,President Xi Jinping proposed to dock China’s Silk Road economic zone with Europe Asia Land Bridge Transport and Mongolian Prairie Road,in order to construct China Mongolia and Russia Economic Corridor.The initiative had received positive response from Russia and Mongolia.Currently the construction of China Mongolia and Russia Economic Corridor are facing with superior strategic opportunity.Chinese government put the construction of it into neighboring diplomacy design and the One Belt And One Road strategy.Summit diplomacy of the three countries create a positive political atmosphere to the construction of Economic Corridor.Asian investment bank and Silk Road Fund will provide financial support for the construction of economic corridor.For the geographical approaching,highly complementary economic and combination point of development strategy,the three countries have strong will of economic corridor construction.The construction of economic corridor will encounter obstacles.The nationalism and the "China threat theory" of Mongols and Russians make Mongolia and Russia misgiving about economic cooperation of the three countries.They are caught in ambivalence of share China’s economic development bonus and fearing of becoming vassals of China’s economy.Moreover,the harsh investment environment of Mongolia and Russia will set economic corridor construction obstacles.The following aspects should commence in the build process.Political summit diplomacy should be the first step,and then build a multi-level dialogue and consultation mechanism covering all sectors of society.Actively promote the three states’ communication at the strategic level.We should play every states’ advantages in economic cooperation.Realizing optimal allocation of resources,and building a freetrade area of China,Mongolia and Russia.Promoting common feelings and mutual understanding of people of three states.Promote the construction of cultural identity of three states.So that the people along the economic corridor will share development dividend.
