Consumer demand is not only the core of autonomy, sustainability and security for China’s economic development, but also is the inevitable requirement for continuous improvement of the living standards."Twelfth Five-Year Plan" to expand adhere to the expansion of domestic demand, especially consumer demand as the basic standpoint of promoting the healthy development of China’s national economy and long-term strategy. And consumer demand is reflected in the consumption structure and consumption structure is a reflection of the people consume content, is a reflection of the quality of people’s consumption level and consumption, at the same time can reflect consumer demand whether people are met. It is an important part of the consumer economy. To study the consumption structure and discover the law of the development of the consumption structure, and to study the factors that affect the consumption structure, not only conducive to the improvement of the consumption structure, more conducive to a virtuous cycle of the national economy.This paper studies China’s economically developed areas of rural residents, mainly focus on the developed areas of rural residents’the consumption structure influencing factors analysis. First, the article introduces the research background and significance, the research status quo. Second, study the evolution of the developed areas of rural residents’ consumption structure, and developed areas in the provinces of rural residents’ the consumption structure from1985-2010are divided stages using clustering analysis phasing, and analyze the characteristics of the various stages, come to the developed areas of rural residents’ the consumption structure variation. And further analysis of the structural changes in the degree of rural residents’ consumption structure find that rural residents’ consumption structure of China’s economically developed areas appear upgrades slowed down. Next we analyze the cause of the problem. First Analysis the reasons that developed areas of rural residents’ the consumption structure upgrade slowing down from a qualitative point of view. We analysis mainly from two angles of precautionary savings and income uncertainty changes the mechanism. At the same time introduces the method to measure income uncertainty by HP filtering. Followed analys quantitatively the affect developed areas of rural residents’ consumption structure upgrade factors, selects the appropriate variable empirical research, based on the theory of precautionary savings and cointegration relationships influencing factors of consumption structure. By the foregoing analysis, comes to theconclusions and puts forward policy recommendations developed areas of rural residents’ the consumption structure upgrading.
