The Fukushima nuclear accident caused’by the earthquake on March2011brings a huge impact to the nuclear power industry of China and the whole world. This thesis uses strategy theory and a combination of macro environment analysis; industry analysis and micro enterprise analysis to evaluate systematically the industry evolution tendency after the Fukushima. nuclear accident. The aim is to find a strategy to cope with the external threat and seize the external opportunities, and make the development of enterprise healthily and continuously.Based on the analysis of the reason of the Fukushima nuclear accident, this thesis use PESTELE method to study the macro environment of the China and the whole world nuclear power industry, then it applies the Five Force in the industry structure change study, and gets the conclusion that the nuclear power will develop none the less, but the development mode will change from Huge Volume and High Speed to the Safety and Efficiency, and the technology of nuclear power will update rapidly to Generation Three from Generation Two Plus. In all, this thesis deduces that the Chinese nuclear power industry will rapidly transit from the burgeoning industry to the mature industry, and the competition will become violent.After the analysis, this thesis applies the Value Chain Framework to analysis the strength and weakness of internal resource and capability of DF company, which is the leading enterprise in Chinese nuclear power equipment supply, and finds that because of the technology change and the recent suspension development of two years, DF has lost the first move advantage in the Chinese nuclear power industry. Meanwhile, by the SWOT analysis, this thesis forms strategic expectations about how to cope with the environmental change. These expectations include the differentiation strategy, cost control strategy, internationalization strategy, value-added services strategy, Technology Transfer strategy and technology innovation strategy. The fundamental competition strategy is minimizing-cost differentiation strategy.With the assessment of VRIO Model, this thesis finds that the superior resource like good quality management ability, good reputation, proprietary learning curve, excellent develop skill is rare, hard to reproduction and replace, and will support the fundamental strategy and be the source of sustained competitive advantage. At the end of the thesis is the organizational design which is suitable to the fundamental strategy and the strategic implementation planning.
