Land as a scarceresource, the contradictions between its effective supply and increasingdemand becomes worsen. Land waste and inefficient land use phenomenonemerging, these issues seriously restricting the sustainable economicdevelopment of the whol society. Sustainable land use caused widespreadconcern in society.In this paper, on the basis of the sustainable use and related theory, takeHainan district of Wuhai City as a research area. Through access tomulti-party data and site visits, analysis of land use situation and existingproblems. On this basis, the establishment of Hainan Land sustainable useevaluation system and related analysis.First of all, combine domestic and international research status quo andthe actual situation of Hainan district. Establish evaluation index system ofsustainable land use. Removed part repeatability indicators from initiallyselected indicators by the correlation method.18evaluation indicatorsselected from the four aspects of the production stability, ecologicalprotection, economic viability and social acceptability, build Hainan Landsustainable use evaluation index system. Then consult the the socio-economicstatistical yearbook and overall land use planning of the study area, and so on.Determine the research value of the indicators, and unifiy standardized indexvalue, in order to avoid causing the data on the difference between thedifferent dimensions.Secondly, to determine the evaluation index system of the index weight,this article, using the subjective analytic hierarchy process and the objectivecoefficient of variation method, in order to avoid the subjective factors anddraw the final weight of each index by the weighted average.Thirdly, the sustainable use of land resources evaluation, including acomprehensive evaluation and the single objective evaluation, and theidentification of sustainable use of the obstacles.Finally, for the sustainable use of land resources in Hainan actually exist obstacles, put forward suggestions and countermeasures to further strengthenthe sustainable management of land resources in Hainan district land use andsocio-economic development of Hainan district Hainan district, playing arelevant role in Hainan land use and socio-economic development.
