Research On The Problem Of Environmental Pollution In The Development Of Hohhot City Since The Western Development

City development is the inevitable result of economic and socialdevelopment, the trend of development of a country and area is urbanization.With the rapid development of the city, the improvement of people’s livingstandard, the environmental pollution question arouses more and moreattention. How to realize the coordination between the city development andenvironmental protection has become a problem of common concern ofcommunity, it is also a part of major strategic initiatives of an area in the pathof sustainable development. Since the western development Hohhot Cityrapid economic development will inevitably lead to many environmentalproblems, so the research on the coordination situation between thedevelopment and the environment problems of the city of Hohhot City hasimportant practical significance to the future development of Hohhot City.Firstly, this paper expounds the basic theory of city and city environment,based on analyzing the development situation of Hohhot City andenvironment pollution, by building the evaluation index system of citydevelopment and environmental issues, using principal component analysis todo a comprehensive evaluation for the past ten years of the city developmentlevel and the environment problems of Hohhot City. Gaining the citydevelopment evaluation index and the environment problems evaluation indexof Hohhot City, and by using the excel tool to draw the graph of the citydevelopment evaluation index and the environment problems evaluation indexof Hohhot City. The graph shows, from2001to2010, the developmentevaluation index of Hohhot City rises, the environment problems evaluationindex has continued to steadily rising trend, the environment problemsevaluation index has been higher than the city development evaluation index.Based on the analyzing the evaluation index of the city development and the environment problems, by building the model of the coordinateddevelopment degree makes evaluation to the overall coordination level of thecity development and the environment problems of Hohhot City. Through theexcel line chart, the city development and environmental coordination degreeof Hohhot City fluctuated rising trend, the coordinated development degreehas been a steady rise trend, but the coordinated development degree is notvery high, a large space to rise. Finally, with the reason for the problems ofenvironmental pollution in the development of Hohhot City, puts forward thecorresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
