A long time, China’s vast rural areas has been in a situation of poverty and backwardness, economic underdevelopment of rural financial markets has lagged far behind the country’s level of financial development. Because of so, the development of rural areas has been highly concerned about the problem of the party and the state, the central government has been to solve the "three rural" issue as a national priority. In order to solve the lack of financial resources in rural areas, improve financial services in rural areas, promote the construction of new socialist countryside, in December2006, the CBRC issued "on the adjustment of financial institutions with banking policy to relax the rural areas to better support the building of a new socialist countryside number of opinions", the establishment of village banks in rural areas to encourage various types of capital, to support the development of rural finance.As a new thing, rural banks also facing a lot of problems in the development how to survive and achieve sustainable development is still important issues facing rural banks.This article use of literature research, case studies research, theoretical analysis and empirical analysis of the combination, by analysis of the development of the rural banks in different economic development of the two regions, to sum up its successful experience, combining theoretical study and China’s rural financial environment, the suggestions from the three aspects of sustainable development of rural banks. Finally, the conclusion, rural banks contribute to improve the rural financial market and the prosperity and development of the rural economy to achieve sustainable development is an inevitable trend, rural banks in the future will usher in broad prospects for development.
