| With the rapid growth of China’s social and economic and the rapid pace of urbanization, the contradiction between supply and demand of the city’s land use has become increasingly acute. In the context of urbanization, land use and land change is more significant, and land use and land change become the focus of the geography and related disciplines. In recent years, China’s most land use and land cover change research is on the big cities, even the mega-cities, but the research on small and medium-sized cities is few. The research will improve these deficiencies. The process and methods will play a very good reference for other studies.This paper took Dongying for example and the main research is as follows:(1) Land use and land change. Using supervised classification method the paper interprets remote sensing images of1989,1999and2009with the ArcGIS software, and analyzes the changes of the number, land use dynamic degree and the land use process in the study area during1989-2009. With the rapid development of urbanization of Dongying, there is big transformation in the land use types of Dongying and the quantity and structure have larger change. From the land use types of the study area in1989, the total area of the study is765704.13hm2; the cultivated land area is333571.82hm2, accounting for43.56%; the waters area accounting for20.78%; the unused land area is relatively large, accounting for17.98%; the grassland area accounting for10.36%; the woodland area is smallest, only accounting for0.37%of the total area. In1999, the total study area is767393.27hm2, the cultivated land area is302717.llhm2, accounting for39.45%, followed is the waters and unused land, accounting for23.97%and18.28%respectively; the area of grassland and construction land accounted for8.96%and8.81%respectively; the woodland area of area is the smallest, accounted for only0.54%. In2009, the total area of the study is768440.25hm2; the cultivated land area is346890.85hm2, accounting for45.14%; followed the water area is171116.02hm2, accounted for22.27%; the construction land area is111852.59hm2, accounting for14.56%; the woodland area is still the smallest 2469.32hm2, accounting for0.32%in the coastal wetlands.(2)The impact of urbanization on land use change. The process of urbanization is affected by a variety of factors. In order to reflect the relationship between the process of urbanization and the types of land-use, this paper uses an integrated parameter, which can reflect the city’s development process. This paper calculated the correlation coefficients between urbanization and land use and land change with SPSS statistical software. Combined with the correlation coefficient of the urban development, using the statistics and the land area of ArcGIS, the paper analyzes the urbanization development parameters correlation. According to the size of the correlation we can quantified the impact of urbanization on land use and land change. The most obvious impact of construction land is the development of urbanization.(3)The environmental effects of land use and land change. Based on the actual situation of the study area, waters ecosystem service value added largest, an increase of108.37%of the total; followed by cropland, the increasing value is0.77million, amounting for17.91%in the total increasing. The total value of ecosystem services of grassland, unused land, woodlands reduced:0.83million,0.24million,0.07million in1989~2009. However, the land use of ecosystem services total value increase of4.3billion between1989and2009. The land use and the change caused by the rapid urbanization process the ecosystem, but the whole system is still in steady state in Dongying. Comparing the value of ecosystem services, in the two periods1989~1999and1999-2009, the later is in a downtrend.According to the content and conclusions of the research, paper makes the proposal from the five aspects, which can provide a reference for urban construction, and gradually realizes the coordinated development of urban development and ecological environment in Dongying, and ultimately achieve the harmony of man and nature. |
