With the the arrival of the knowledge-based economy, knowledge workers havebecome the valuest human capital, and they are the impotant resourses in thecompetition between enterprises. Cultural enterprises belongs to theintelligence-intensive enterprise,which depends on knowledge workers more thanvisible resources.so, how to encourage knowledge workers is very important toCultural enterprises.Now, the study of encouraging knowledge workers in Culturalenterprises is still limited. The purpose of this paper is to sort the motivational factorsused to encourage knowledge workers in Cultural enterprises, and find out the contactbetween personal background characteristics of knowledge workers and how theychoose motivational factors.This paper includes two parts:the first part introduces the writing backgroundand the purpose and the meaning and the status quo of this paper, analyzes andsummarizes the study of cultural enterprises and knowledge workers and incentivetheory, elaborates the definition and characteristics of cultural industries and Culturalenterprise and knowledge worker. Then the writer puts forward he definition ofknowledge workers in Cultural enterprise. The second part is the empirical part. Thewriter used SPSS16.0to analysis he data from questionnaire survey. Then, we cansort the motivational factors used to encourage knowledge workers in Culturalenterprises, and find out the contact between personal background characteristics ofknowledge workers and how they choose motivational factors.
