Oil And Gas Resources In Central Asia Cooperation Chinese Enterprises To Participate

Energy resources, especially for oil&natural gas, plays an important and decisive role in the field of economical development. With the pace of modernization, more and more countries are being engaged into the cases of resources,which will not only risk their security, but also their survival or extinction. In recent years, China has earned a great achievement in economy field, which means China will need more oil and gas. But the domestic oil and gas resources obviously can not meet the needs of its economic development. In order to benefit energy security and strengthen its overseas enterprises, China has to turn to search for more strategies.This article is dividen into four chapters. The first chapter introduces the distribution of oil and gas all over the world as well as the investment of Central Asia’s oil and gas, then it analyzes the reasons why Chinese-funded enterprises want to participate in the development of Central Asian’s oil and gas resource. The second chapter introduces the course of development of the Chinese-funded enterprises in the Central Asian region as well as the mode they selected to enter the region. It analyzes the problems encountered by the Chinese-funded enterprises in the process of merger and acquisition with typical cases. It also assesses the mutually beneficial and win-win choice for Chinese enterprises to participate in oil and gas development in the Central Asian region in terms of the macro and micro investment effectiveness. The third chapter introduces the challenges and risks confronted by Chinese-funded companies in oil&gas development of central Asia through the facets of investment enviorment, the relations between big powers and Chinese enterprise itself. The last chapter presents my own strategic thinking from the national level and the enterprise level according to the risks and challenges confronted by Chinese-funded companies.Through discussion, I believe that the oil&gas cooperation development of Chinese enterprises in central Asia will not only improve the single crude oil imported model but also have great practical significance in alleviating the serious energy security situation. Meanwhile, it also promotes China and Central Asia’s common economy development to achieve the goal of mutual benefit and win-win gain.
