Model Of Economic Development In Ethnic Areas Under The Industry Perspective

Economic development model is a hot topic in China’s economic development research. Different scholars on the economic development model have different definitions. From the narrow sense, development is merely an economic concept, is a country’s economic regime, economic system, economic policies and a high-level conclusion of economic activity experiences. Broadly speaking, development mode contains a lot of integrated elements; such as the economic system of institutional, social and political systems, history and culture and so on. This thesis briefly accounts the divided basis of the development model of contemporary China’s economy, explores the factors to define minority economic development models by industrial structure, set out minority economic development mode through talking about the border minorities’ development in agriculture, industry, trade, individual characteristics, as well as in the development of tourism in minority issues, and makes recommendations for targeted development.Economic development strategy has been established in Chinese ethnic minority regions, so how to choose the model of economic development becomes a key issue. On the one hand, we cannot stereotype a certain model of economic development; on the other hand, we should also understand the economic development model in Chinese ethnic minority regions of the inherent characteristics of the economic development of the region, and we need analysis of judging the choice of targeted economic development model carefully. However, determining the appropriate minority economic development model need to determining the basis of the division of the economic development firstly.The main body of the thesis consists of an introduction and three chapters. First chapter is about the basic definition of what is economic development model in Chinese ethnic minority regions. Through delimiting the model, economic model and economic development model come to the definition of economic development model in Chinese ethnic minority regions and the three main conditions that definition should have. With the comparison of economic development model and some similar concepts, clarifying further the meaning of economic development model in Chinese ethnic minority regions. This chapter also outlines the divided basis of economic development model in the areas of economics study, and states reasons why the minority economic development selects industrial structure as the divided basis. Second chapter summarize the main factors that affecting minority economic development mode and the meaning and purposes on a study of economic development model in Chinese ethnic minority regions. Third chapter under the recent situation of minority economic development for more than30years of reform and opening, introducing the industry factors of minority economic development model, such as individual characteristics, problems and causes of ethnic minority development in agriculture, industry, trade and tourism, in the development. This thesis makes targeted recommendations on various factors of economic development patterns of China’s minorities.China’s economy is developing in a period of rapid transition. As an important component of the national economy and the most basic run unit, status and patterns of ethnic economy development is an essential component of China’s economic development situation and model. This thesis by researching China’s economic development mode in ethnic minority regions, advocating scientific development of economy in minority nationality regions, and promoting the relative balance of productivity nationwide, radically changing the face of minority regions lagging behind, improving people’s living standards to strengthen the friendship and solidarity among peoples. In view of this, researching on China’s economic development model in ethnic minority regions needs more reflection and emphases not only have the direct bearing on minorities but also on national economic and social development.
