| Wellness Tourism is a way of relaxation including both self-cultivation and tourism activities. Having increasing income and leisure time and caring more about the health, people start to treat wellness Tourism a new method of tourism. This article chooses Wellness Tourism as the object of research and use Maoshan scenic region as an example. For the purpose of developing wellness tourism products, this article applies Literature Research Method, Focus Group Method, Depth Interview, Expert Scoring Method, and Statistics Analysis to construct Perceived Value Model for wellness tourists. And apply this model in evaluating and verifying Maoshan scenic region’s current situation. The theoretical basis of the article is Concept of Taoist health, Experience Economy Theory, Customer Perceived Value Theory, and Tourism Products Development Theory. Based on the Perceived Value Model, the article analyzes the different angles of perceived value. IPA Analysis is used to reveal the pros and cons of the development of Maoshan wellness tourism. The conclusion of IPA Analysis is applied to construct the system of scenic region’s wellness tourism products and to provide development strategies. This research provides theoretical guide and methods for the factors evaluation of wellness tourism perceived value. And the research also provides evaluation methods and practical development strategies for Maoshan tourism products’ optimization.The research is consisted of four parts. The1st part is basic research, which includes Chapter1and Chapter2. It mainly states the research background, research purpose, research meaning, research method, research content, and research techniques. The concept of wellness tourism is described. And theoretical basis of the research is stated. The2nd part is standard research, which includes Chapter3. The system of factors evaluation for wellness tourism perceived value and the perceived value model are constructed by analyzing current situation of wellness tourism and research literature. The3rd part is the empirical research, which includes Chapter4and Chapter5. The empirical research applies wellness tourism perceived value model to evaluate wellness tourism from different angles and factors. IPA Analysis is used to verify the feasibility of the model and to raise the strategies of developing wellness tourism products. The4th part is the conclusion and discussion, which includes Chapter6. It is consisted of research conclusion, research innovation, research shortage, and the follow-up research.This research has the conclusion as follows:①The wellness tourists pay attention to the following seven factors with the descending importance, which are wellness tourism resources, wellness tourism products development, scenic wellness function, wellness-related elements, tourists sentimental value, wellness service situation, and tourists perceived cost.②The constructed wellness tourists perceived value model includes seven factors and28elements, which provides sufficient discussion of wellness tourism place’s research.③After applying wellness tourists perceived value model in Maoshan scenic region’s wellness tourism development, the scenic region doesn’t perform well in wellness tourism resources, wellness-related elements, wellness tourism products development, and scenic service level. The scenic perceived value IPA analysis concludes that the scenic needs to be improved in culture deposits, attractiveness, level of inspiration, distinctiveness, facilities, and service selling points. And the IPA analysis conclusion matches the result of perceived value model analysis.④The system of Maoshan scenic region’s wellness tourism products contains the product series of landscape tourism, religion and culture, relaxation and vacation, and special wellness tourism products. |
