| The conflict between urban expansion and protection of farmland is increasingly intense in China. Chasing economic growth at the cost of inefficient expansion of land for construction is no longer a good choice. Instead, municipal governments are positively engaging in economic restructuring and industrial upgrading. Consequently, significant adjustment is needed for industrial development and functional layout of cities. The adjustment of industrial land, which corresponds to second industry, is one of major methods to gain room for development in central urban area.Given this background, this paper studies the adjustment sequence of industrial land which aims at optimizing cities’spatial layout.This paper discovers spatial distribution pattern in central area of Yiwu city(including Houzhai, Beiyuan, Choujiang, Choucheng and Jiangdong) through GIS-based analysis. A number of factors influencing the distribution of industrial land in central area of Yiwu city are summarized based on above pattern and relevant literature. These factors are employed for evaluation of adjustment potential. The evaluation is conducted on both overall and individual level. One layer is plotted for each of these influencing factors, utilizing spatial analysis tools like overlapping analysis, network analysis and spatial statistical analysis etc.. By overlaying all the layers with Simple Additive Weighting Method(SAW), the final evaluation map is created. Weights of different factors, which are determined through pair-comparison, are taken into consideration during the overlaying process. The adjustment schedule of industrial land is thus concluded according to the ranking of potential in each area.Finally, this paper proposes guiding principles for adjustment of industrial land.and then designs the allocation program of adjustment by using VBA program.The adjustment schedule of central area of Yiwu city is divided into three stages of the short-term,medium-term,long-term. Together with the master Planning for Yiwu (2006-2020), the paper points out direction for industrial adjustment, and discusses on methods to realize the adjustment. Suggestions are made for adjustment of industrial land in central area of Yiwu city. |
