Abstract/Summary:
Compared with the global economic situation which is not optimistic, the development of Chinese economy has got great attention from the international communities. The reality that China’s GDP surpasses Japan’s and becomes the second largest economy after the United States, and the tendency that the national economy still maintained rapid development, which are all state that China’s overall economy scale has been considerable. As the world tourism organization predicts China will become the world’s top tourism receiving country by2015. Tourism plays a very important role in the national economy, and its development speed has always been fast. It plays an increasingly important role in employment and absorbing the social labor for its traits, such as small investment, instant gratification, multiple levels of employment, low employment threshold, agile employment ways and the employment leading role in related industry. However, the opinion about the contribution of tourism in national economy has always been different. The role of tourism in country and regional industry is a problem do need estimating. The contribution of tourism to national economy is certain to exist, although there has always been no a unified conclusion in specific and scientific method. The endogenous growth theory, which developed in the1980s, promotes the research of the relationship between the spillover effect and economic growth into "endogenous age". In the1990s, a large number of economists used the endogenous growth theory to study the relationship between the spillover effect and the economic growth, and integrated the spillover effect into them. The view that the mutual promotion between spillover coefficient and economic growth rate has been widely accepted. Tourism spillover effect has become a very important factor in economic growth. However, there is lack of research on tourism spillover effect in domestic, and few theoretical achievements. Especially, most of domestic researches still stay in the basic level to do speculative qualitative research, and the result is quite different from what foreign researches get from empirical quantitative model research. The domestic about area tourism spillover effect research is very weak, the theoretical research is few, especially the domestic research is still in the basic level of speculative qualitative research, quantitative model and empirical study of the research achievements of the more obvious gap. For its importance, the economic problems are the core problem in economics. To better adapt to the demand and change of market, tourism must be aware of the primary cause, intrinsic mechanism and growth paths of economic growth and development. While tourism spillover effect, which is called tourism economic externalities characteristics as well is designed to explain the effect of tourism economic activities on the regional or even the country economy, mainly reflects the contribution of tourism to regional economic. Based on the summary to related research in domestic and foreign, and the region where the tourism industry cluster reaches a certain scale and tourism development is relatively mature, the paper uses speculative qualitative and empirical quantitative model research methods to discuss the influence factors of the regional tourism spillover effect level, the mechanism model of the effect and the improvement of regional tourism spillover effect measure model. What’s more, combined with the case in Fujian province, the paper will analyze the validity of the model and the characteristics of regional tourism spillover effect in Fujian, and then reaches the conclusion that there is a close connection between regional tourism spillover effect and economic growth.
