Low Carbon Economy Development Path Choice Of Inner Mongolia

From the perspective of international background, global warming and its causedproblems have made the countries all over the world begin to consider them in recent years.The international community has reflected on the issue of carbon emission, associatingwith energy consumption and the existing model of economic development, and has madecontinuous efforts to establish a guiding principle of executive force. How to cope withclimate warming is not only an environmental problem, but also a complex internationalproblem involving economy, politics, law and diplomacy, which may have a significantimpact on the human s production and consumption patterns.In the light of domestic development situation, China’s economic and socialdevelopment must turn to the ecological civilization with low carbon, low entropy and cost.It is an irreversible trend. Since Reform and Opening up, the Inner Mongolia AutonomousRegion s economy has developed rapidly, continuously and healthily, which presented asound and rapid momentum. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is a big provinceabundant in energy and resources, what s more, is a typical economic zone of high carbonlevel. There is only one choice for this region: they should follow the economic and socialdevelopment trend, and seize superior opportunities to develop low carbon economy.Facing such severe situation of climate change at home and abroad and the oneroustasks of saving energy, people in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region have to solve apresent problem: how can they seek a balance between industrialization and greenhousegas emission, and continue to maintain developmental speed in the "Inner Mongoliamodel". Domestic scholars have also conducted many researches, but most of them stillremain the qualitative researches, the quantitative researches are made occasionally. Thereexist some certain limitations on the plan of low-carbon economy development made bythe government of this region. The author has done the following work with the method ofcombining qualitative and quantitative:Section1, the beginning of the paper, is the foundation of the paper, which mainlyintroduces the background of the selected topic, significance on the research and relatedtheoretical basis. It mainly introduces the relevant theories of low-carbon economy that letreader’s know the concept of low carbon economy. Based on this, the author analyzes therelated researches and developmental practice, clarifies the research situation anddevelopmental practice of the low carbon economy in present stage, further put forward theresearch thought and research methods in this paper. Section2is mainly about the relationship between economic development and carbonemissions in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and test on its adaptability of lowcarbon economy development.Section3plans to describe the development situation of the low carbon economy inthe Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Specifically speaking, with the firstly-madeexploration in low carbon economic development and its developmental environmentdevelopment, the author plans to analyze the favorable conditions and foundations for thesustainable development of low-carbon economy in this region as well as the presentsituation of the development of low-carbon economy.Section4is a preparation section. Based on the systematic research of the low carboneconomy development system in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it makes thestructure of low carbon economy development clear in this region, then analyzes theeffects degree on the carbon emission in each part by the factorization method to determinethe main factors affecting its development of low-carbon economy.Section5is the core of this paper. It intends to build a systematic dynamics (SD)model of the low carbon economy development in the Inner Mongolia AutonomousRegion in line with the fourth part of the main factors affecting the development oflow-carbon economy in this region discussed in Section4.Section6is the path selection. Through the systematic simulation of SD modelestablished in the Section5, the author will find out the optimal path of low-carboneconomic development in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.Section7is about the measures and suggestions. According to the theoretical andempirical analyses in this paper, the author will raise some suggestions on the developmentof low-carbon economy in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
