The Research Of The Coordination Development Between Urbanization And Industrialization Of XPCC

Industrialization and urbanization were necessary processes for social development. Theindustrialization and urbanization constituted the main theme of the economic and socialdevelopment, and reflected the change of industrial structure and spatial structure. And thecoordinated development is the inevitable requirement of the development for social economic, isan important task for building a well-off society. At the same time, it is also the important contentof thoroughly implement for the scientific development. Xinjiang is in the development stage, andthe corps as an important part of the Xinjiang autonomous region, is a special organization,charged with the glorious mission entrusted by the state. Efforts to promote the coordinateddevelopment of BINGTUAN urbanization and industrialization is an important part of improvingthe comprehensive economic strength of the regiment, is an important way to solve the corpsindustry development, unreasonable structure, urban layout scattered, motive of urbanization andother problems, it also promote the corps and the whole social economic development of Xinjiang,has an important significance to further improve the level of an important driving force for themaintenance of social stability in border areas.This study overviews comprehensively the connotation and characteristics of urbanizationand industrialization and analyzes the mechanism between the two, and reviews the process andthe development status of urbanization and industrialization of the XPCC. By choosing concreteindicators which reflect the urbanization and industrialization development, this paper constructsevaluation index system of coordination degree and analyses the comprehensive benefit ofurbanization and industrialization, the overall coordination development level and coordinationdegree of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps(XPCC) from both dynamic and staticangles by applying the coordination evaluation mode. Finally, the paper forecasts the coordinationdegree between urbanization and industrialization during the12th Five-Year Plan.The study finds that the coordination degree between urbanization and industrialization isincreasing from2005to2010, but still at a low Coordination level, and the coordinate type isshifting from urbanization backwardness to industrialization backwardness. Simultaneously, theoverall coordination development level and coordination degree are also significantly differentamong the different divisions of XPCC. By the prediction results, the coordination degree ofurbanization and industrialization is rising from weak coordination State to more coordinated Stateduring the12th Five-Year Plan.
