China LED Lighting Industry Organizations Researching Based On The SCP Paradigm Perspective

There is a close relationship between the economic development of a country withthe development of the national industry, the development of a national industrial relymainly on natural resources, scientific and technological strength that country has.With the acceleration of economic development and population increase, peopleliving requirements increasing the damage caused by the economic development ofthe environment, among other factors, the contradiction between demand of energy toeconomic development with energy supply is so heavy that a large of provinceappears blackouts in energy demanding peak, cuts energy utilization in western to therequirement of energy for economic development in eastern, industrial andagricultural scissors change into eastern and energy demand. The emergence of LEDlighting industry conforms to the requirements of the development of history, it’sdevelopment play an important role in the effective use of energy in one country,meanwhile with the long industry chain, its development will drive the relatedindustry into development, so the LED lighting industry has become into country’sstrategic emerging industry in the21st century. The development of LED lightingindustry will lead to the renewal and upgrading of the whole lighting industry, it isalso a big strip of the implementation of energy strategy, the construction ofenvironment-friendly, resource-saving society.The LED industry of China began in the1970s,until now accumulated a certainamount of technical research and development achievements, but the LED used in thelighting industry in China is still the primary stage, the degree of maturity of thetechnology is still difficult to achieve large-scale industrialization, which makes thepromotion and development of China’s LED lighting industry subject to certainrestrictions, and also there are some industrial agglomeration is not enough to achievethe economies of scale phenomenon, among the people’s awareness of energyConservation is relatively weak and the lack of awareness of LED and so on, so that China’s LED lighting industry development is relatively slow. This paper is the studyof China’s lighting industry, use the SCP paradigm to analyze China’s LED lightingindustry organizations, analysis the industry’s representative enterprise’s related data,and access to large amounts of foreign literature to understand the developedcountries such as the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany and othercountries’ experience and lessons learned in the development of LED lighting industry,at finally, combined with China’s actual situation and the problems of the LEDlighting industry development process, to make certain policy recommendations, inorder to promote the development of China’s LED lighting industry health andrapidly.Through access to a lot of databases such as the CNKI net, the Wan Fangdatabase, VIP journals and so on, collected some information about LED lighting. Thequalitative analysis was used to study the situation of the development of LEDlighting, through the available data, the author used the quantitative analysis toverification the LED lighting industry, two ways to better illustrated the situation ofChina’s LED development, at the same time pointed out the direction for futuredevelopment. There are two main innovation of this paper. The first, used the SCPparadigm which was in the theory of industrial organization to analysis the LEDlighting industry, broaden the scope of application of the SCP paradigm, enhanced thetheoretical support of the industry research. The second, broken the LED lightingindustry research in pure research, quantitative analysis of several factors that willaffect the competitiveness of the LED lighting industry, through multiple regressionempirical studies, making conclusions more convincing.
