| Following development and construction in the1990s’Langdong and Fengling New Economic Zone, Nanning is focusing on creating a new economic development zone-Wuxiang Zone at the south bank of Yongjiang river, which started in2006, now have infrastructure gradually improved. In order to better meet the need of developing the new zone, integrating the resources, coping with challenge home and aboard, promoting the industry into large scale, agglomeration and standardization, its industry plan should be made after the situation and its trend have been analyzed, the development rule have been obeyed.Beginning with situation research, this thesis combines with natural resources and the market requirement to analyze the general situation, and the development of the first, the second and the third industry; under the opportunities of the12th five-Year plan of Guangxi and Nanning as well as the Guangxi "14+4", through six factors analysis of industrial diamond model, the factors analysis of production, demand conditions, related industries and competition system, and the analysis of outside factors and the government, we summarize its cultivate opportunities, threats and nurture the strengths, weaknesses; through comparison and integration of the Strategic planning, we try to do strategy research. Then, combined with the SWOT matrix of strategic analysis tools, its industry development strategy is identified as the core competitiveness growth strategy and industry linkage strategy. We consider that the new zone should take the opportunity of functional building, focuses on fostering new energy, advanced equipment manufacturing, new materials, and other strategic emerging industries as well as developing modern service industry such as cultural and creative industries, the sports industry during a period of one-year, five-year and ten-year. Combined with the construction of functional zone, we work out that the culture industry, sports industry, trade industry, logistics industry, modern industry, new industry, tourism, ecological agriculture should be given priority to the development in the2013-2020’s industry development plan. What’s more, in our opinion, policies, industry concentration, decision-making assessment and personnel training system should be developed to protect foster planning and implementation in order to improve industries nurtured efficiency and industrial agglomeration ability, to enhance the core competitiveness of this district, and to ensure its progressing smoothly, which is aimed at the overall development of strategic objectives in2013-2020. Industry development in other economic zone can get great value from it. |
