Development Research Of Maoming Farmers Economic Cooperation Organization

After the China’s rural economic reform, especially the accession to the WTO, the market of Chinese agricultural products has been globalizing. The traditional small-scale peasant production and business operation model of a one suffered a severe test. Agricultural standardization, informationization and the problem such as pesticide residue detection are difficult to overcome. In this context, farmers economic cooperation organization arises at the historic moment, effectively promotes the communication between the farmers and the market.This paper adopts literature research method and questionnaire investigation method and analytical mode of practice, and it does a fully systematical analysis of the Maoming farmers economic cooperation organization and its running situation.By running the Logit model it did a search on the will of Maoming farmers economic cooperation organization and its influencing factors. And it reveals the inner mechanism of various factors affecting the wills of farmers’participating. According to the research to292farmers and statistical results of18farmers economic cooperation organization, peasant farmers economic cooperation organization overall service satisfaction is4.46on average, farmers economic cooperation organization contributes a lot in terms of technical training,seedlings providing, supply of pesticides unifying, fertilizers,brand unifying,distribution unifying, contract signing unifying and support when suffering the calamity. Survey results also showed that with the increase of age and agriculture accounted for proportion of family income, farmers to join this organization on the whole gradually increase. And among those who haven’t joined the farmers economic cooperation organization,33.33%of them didn’t participate because of lack of organization,36.24%of people didn’t participate because their home is beyond the scope of requisition of land,10.14%of people think that joining the farmers economic cooperation organization does not change their situation,20.29%of people think that the existent farmers economic cooperation organization is not much use, and another20.29%of people don’t understand the farmers economic cooperation organization. Based on the research above, this paper puts forward several relevant aspects countermeasures and suggestions about developing farmer cooperative economy organization to the government of Maoming city. First of all, we should provide strong support and the guidelines to the development of the farmers economic cooperation organization. Meanwhile the government should establish the relevant policy to support the organization in terms of finance, technology and management. Secondly, the inner management of this organization should be standardized and the system should be consummated in order to make sure that it can be developed continuously, healthily and vigorously.
