Patent competitive intelligence is spread up around patents and competitiveintelligence. It refers to intelligent activities, which in order to win and keep thestrengths in the intense market competition, the enterprises collect, control, analyzeand synthesize the intelligence about competitors, competitive environment and itsown status legally, predict its technology or strategic trends, and form a continuous,value-added, confrontational core ability, so as to provide the basis for enterprise’sstrategic and tactical decisions.Patent competitive intelligence research has a great significance in enterprisedevelopment. Through the analysis of patent information，enterprise can get thewarning signal of technology, economy, law, and predict the changes may occur. Andthen enterprise can take corresponding measures and look for the new developmentopportunities, so that the patent competitive intelligence can be done.This paper makes a brief summary of patent competitive intelligence and therelationship between patent competitive intelligence and enterprise.
