Research On The Development Situation Of Tourist Attractions In Chengyu Econmic Zone

Tourist attractions are the material carrier of tour activities of tourist. As the importantcomponent of tourist destination, they are key point of tourist planning and significant field oftourist geography research. In the accelerating development opportunities and trend in ChengyuEconomic Zone, in-depth study on the grade A tourist attractions development pattern in ChengyuEconomic have important significance to regional tourism industry and whole regional economydevelopment both in theory and in practice. This paper is based on the GIS techenology, takegrade A tourist attractions in Chengyu Economic Zone as example, with the spatial data andattribute data of tourist attractions from2001to2011as the research object, by using the methodof Gini Coefficient, Nearest Neighbor Index, Zipf Law, Geographical Linkage Coefficient, BetaIndex, Gamma Index, networks Nick Index, analysis technics of Radius of Gyration analysis,Nuclear Density analysis, mathematical statistics, Graphical analysis, discuss the developmentsituation characteristics of grade A tourist attractions in Chengyu Economic Zone in the matter ofdevelopmental difference, spatial position, spatial relationship and traffic network pattern. Itturned out that:(1) In the aspect of developmental difference, the total amount of grade A tourist attractionsin Chengyu Economic Zone showed a trend of rapid growth in recentl ten years. Grade2A3A and4A tourist attractions has maintained a high growth rate,but the completed promotion grade Atourist attractions are in a very small proportion. The tourist attractions have witnessed rapidgrowth in initial stage, fall back in Medium-term. The promotion of Chengyu Economic Zoneconstruction propel the grade A tourist attractions construction level in a certain extent, and thecenter of gravity in development is gradually shifting to the mid-market. Cultural touristattractions not only have a large advantage in numbers, but the overall quality is also higher thannatural tourist attractions. The mid-market supply of tourist attractions is too strong in Chengyu Economic Zone. Level-scale structure had not formed stabile pyramid structure builted by Zipfmodel. High-level and low-level grade A tourist attractions has witnessed a weak development.The development intensity difference in Chengyu Economic Zone9areas was significant. Thezone is in the stages of extreme uneven development, and the development intensity in the areas ofChengdu and Chongqing Metropolitan Zone keep strong. The development intensity of grade Atourist attractions in Middle-of-south of Sichuan is affected by division of cooperation in ChengyuEconomic Zone.(2) In the aspect of spatial position, In each period, the Nearest Neighbor Indexs of grade Atourist attractions in Chengyu Economic Zone are less than1, and CVs of Voronoi area are morethan64%, that prove the space agglomeration distribution situation. Accumulative effect change isdivided into two stages: polarization effect stage (2002-2007) shows polarize along dual-core ofChongqing and Chengdu, diffusing effect stage (2008-2011) shows diffuse along south of citycenter in Chongqing and west of city center in Chengdu. The distance of120-300km fromChengdu and Chongqing is dense range of grade A tourist attractions distribution, showed far fromthe city agglomeration distribution, and distance attenuation effect has alleviated. The region ofhigh density grade A tourist attractions locate in Chengdu and urban area of Chongqing. Relativelyhigh density region formed mainly distribution pattern in the north and south direction, and southdirection has a greater advantage in the number and the level of quality of tourist attractions. Themain trend of grade A tourist attractions center in Chengyu Economic Zone is northeast direction,but always locate in the southwest of geographic center. The growing gap in the geographicaldistribution is mainly reflected in the north-south direction.(3)In the aspect of spatial relationship, the increase evolution of the new grade A touristattractions in Chengyu Economic Zone along complex terrain areas or transition zone, and formeda pattern that tourist attractions intensive areas is complex landform area. The increase evolutionof grade A tourist attractions along important river systems, and the attractions intensive areasexist extensive water system distribution. The grade A tourist attractions in Chengyu EconomicZone have Strong dependence to traffic artery especially in highway. Chongqing Beltway insideand Chengdu Beltway outside exist obvious effect of spatial aggregation. The increase evolutionof grade A tourist attractions along important towns, formed a pattern that tourist attractionsintensive areas is towns concentrated area. In the metropolitan area of Chengdu and Chongqing,attractions gathered very obviously. Secondly, the metropolitan area of Leshan and Luzhou alsogathered more attractions. There is a high degree of adaptability between tourist attractions andmarkets, it shows significant market-oriented characteristics, that can produce a best possibleresults in the tourist attractions resource allocation and be better for stable development of tourist attractions.(4) In the aspect of traffic network pattern, the Beta Index of grade A tourist attractions inChengyu Economic Zone is1.12, network connection degree only belong to the low level and42.70%of grade A tourist attractions are not radiated by traffic artery. The Gamma Index of gradeA tourist attractions in Chengyu Economic Zone is0.38, network connectivity is low, but a part ofregion’s tourism connectivity is still high. The average networks Nick Index of grade A touristattractions in Chengyu Economic Zone is9.56, the accessibility is generally worse, the ChineseOrange hometown in Jintang is the network center.Based on above conclusions, synthesize real factors and related research theory, developingtwo optimization goals:“attractions layout coordination” and “attractions functionalcomplementation”; proposing six optimization principles:“the principle of regional coordination”,“the principle of enhance the structure function”,“the principle of moderate advance”,“theprinciples of sustainable development”,“the principle of location” and “the principles of urbancoordination”; designing three optimization measures in the matter of spatial layout optimization:“building the tourist attractions belt around the two city, outstanding level function”,“implementing point-axis development model, optimizing the dual-core structure”,“perfectingtransport network, building quality tourist zone”; designing four optimization measures in thematter of structure function optimization:“strengthening effective guidance, promoting the orderlydevelopment”;“overcoming the negative impact of regional differences, strengthening attractionsintegrated interacting”,“Promoting the tourism facilitation process. improving the transportationnetwork, developing self-driving tour”,“implementing product-oriented development, maximizingthe comprehensive benefits”.
