Empirical Studies Comparing Urban Agglomeration In Central And North Bay Cities

Along with the development of the acceleration of economic globalization and urbanization, the competition between cities is no longer just for a single city, but is becoming more and more as the core city as the center of the urban agglomeration or city group competition, large cities as the core of urban agglomeration has become a global significance of city regional development pattern and space combination pattern, which means the global urban agglomerations new division of labor in the new era of globalization context, exchanges and cooperation, only the urban agglomeration have enough industry aggregation and economies of scale to participate in the global city competition and cooperation, to form the powerful combination of the economic community and a common destiny, and respond to the challenges of globalization.China has had many different scale, different regions of the city group, Dianzhong urban agglomeration and Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration are key area of "The national development planning", which is very important for the construction of "two horizontal and three vertical" urbanization strategy pattern and will be a new round of western development contribution strength in the future. Dianzhong urban agglomeration is inland urban agglomeration, which includes Kunming as the core and Qujing, Yuxi, Chuxiong as auxiliary, Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration is coastal urban agglomeration, which includes Nanning as the core and Beihai, Fangchenggang, Qinzhou as auxiliary, two city groups in many aspects have similar characteristics.The core content of this paper with empirical analysis and comparison analysis, comparison is carried out three aspects of Dianzhong urban agglomeration and Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration:comparison of urban agglomeration competitiveness, comparison of the urban agglomerations composite index, comparison of urban agglomeration structure, three aspects comparison based on the latest data and reports. Based on the empirical research of Dianzhong urban agglomeration and Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration, analysis of the basic situation and characteristics of the development of the two urban agglomerations, and provided some countermeasures and suggestions for developing Dianzhong urban agglomeration and Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration. At same time, puts forward the cooperative vision of Dianzhong urban agglomeration and Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration, provide a reference for developing Dianzhong urban agglomeration and Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration as China international urban agglomeration for ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations).
