Rural power grid is one of the most important infrastructure constructions to China rural development. No matter to the automation and intelligent development of traditional agriculture industry, or to the tourism industry as a representative of the rise of emerging industry, rural development is inseparable from the support power. Rural power grid can effectively promote the region’s economic growth, relieve rural poverty, and create economic benefit for the rural sustainable development. Electric power industry promotes economic and social development in rural areas, which also puts forward higher request to the power grid operation efficiency. At the same time, rural areas also requires power supply more rapidly, safety and high efficiency. Making efficiency comprehensive evaluation on the rural power grid operation can help the rural power supply enterprise find that the problems existing in the process and the effects on the operation of the electric efficiency, and factors effecting power supply quality and customer satisfaction of various factors, so as to timely formulate corresponding improvement measures, and improve the rural power grid operation efficiency. But because the rural power grid operation involves wide, professional and strong reason, power grid operation efficiency analysis in fact is a relatively new research field. Until now there is no generally accepted effective evaluation system and method can be used to accurately assigns operation efficiency evaluation. The operation of the electric analysis is based on quantitative data need to accomplish, which power grid in this work is relatively short, mainly manifested in the lack of power grid operation efficiency can be used in the analysis of statistical data and mature index system.In this paper, a analysis has been made, which is about the current situation of the developmen of China’s rural power grid, focusing on the analysis of rural power grid electricity consumption, energized, power and electricity for the equipment as well as power grid operating conditions in four areas. A simple and practical power grid operation efficiency evaluation index system has been built up, which is including for three types of index, namely power grid development indexes, business class index and power supply service class index. The evaluation model has been established by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) comprehensive evaluation method, and used Yaahp software for calculation. Then the empirical analysis of the application has been made. Based on the eastern, central and western rural power grid as evaluation object, the rural power grid operation condition had been analyzed comprehensively, summarized the experience and existing system, and last put forward the comprehensive improvement proposals, formulated detailed implementation countermeasure, making a beneficial explore of rural power enterprises to improve the efficiency of grid operation.
