Evaluation And Research On Operating Performance Of Power Listed Companies

The power industry is the basis of the national economy and supporting industry, and the power listed companies is an important part of the electric power industry. With the development of China’s socialist market economy, power listed company’s operating environment has undergone great changes. How to evaluate the operating performance of the power listed companies scientifically is becoming a hotspot in many scholars. This article is divided into five chapters for researching the operating performance of listed companies of China’s electric power system in-depth study. Research framework and results are as follows.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background, purpose and significance. This paper analyzes their applicability combined with China’s power listed companies, establishing a theoretical foundation for the establishment of the performance evaluation system suited to China’s power company.Secondly, this paper summaries the operating performance evaluation thinking and evaluation model at this stage, elaborating two evaluation methods, that are The Balanced Scorecard and Economic Value Added and four evaluation models, that are Analytic Hierarchy Process, Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method, Entropy Method and Data Envelopment Analysis.Thirdly, this paper establishes indicators system to measure the operating performance of China’s power listed companies, in accordance with the principles of integrity, objectivity and comparability, combining the factors that affect the electric company performance. The indicator system solvency power listed company operating performance from four aspects, which are profitability, operating capacity, growth. At the same time, the paper establishes performance evaluation model of power listed companies in Principal Component Analysis Method by selecting15power listed company’s financial data for9years.Finally, this paper selects comprehensive indicators according to the evaluation model, and ranks performance scores at the average performance of the15samples by data calculating and anglicizing. At the same time, according to the changes in the law and trends of the overall business performance of the principal components, we get the rankings of the principal components in the degree of the influencing the overall operating performance. This paper argues that, the greatest impact of the principal components is profit principal component to the power listed companies, and then are the liabilities principal component and the operation principal component, the growth principal component at last, and provides policies and recommendations to improve the business performance of China’s power listed companies.
