Ergun County Economic Development

County economy is an important part of the national economy, and county economy development level directly affects the development level and the situation of the national economic. Since reform and opening up, China’s economic development focus is in the city for more than20years, and the city’s economic development has made great achievements. However, small city economy and rural economy have made no big improvement, so the development of county economy is becoming an inevitable requirement of China’s economic development. Since the Party’s16th national congress report clearly put forward the concept of county economy, some files related to the economic and social reform made by central governments all have the content of the county economy development. More attention is paid to the county economy development practice and some relevant theory researches are in-depth. Provincial and city governments have introduced policies and measures to promote the development of county economy, and various articles that are related to the research work of county territory economy development also appear. In this condition, the study of county economy development in Erguna which has the typical characteristic of western border towns also has the corresponding theoretical value and practical significance.Besides, since the reform and opening up, Inner Mongolia autonomous region governments have made big efforts to adjust industrial structure, promote new industrialization, agriculture industrialization and urbanization process. County economy has obtained a fast development, has made great achievements, and has formed a good situation in which the strong county take the lead in development, medium counties are rising rapidly, weak counties are speeding up, economic and social development are promoting together, and urban and rural people’s living standards are continuing to improve. However, in the condition of economic system transformation and the socialist market economy system is not perfect, a number of counties’economic development is influenced deeply, in the process Erguna city gradually widen the gap with the developed areas. Erguna city is one of the most underdeveloped counties in76counties in Inner Mongolia, and has a big gap with the developed counties. Therefore, for the Erguna city, researches of the county economy development are necessary.Based on regional economics, industry economics, development economics, and the research related to the study of the theory of county territory economy development, this paper makes the county economy development as the main line, analyzes and studies it through the questionnaire interview, panel access, and collecting relevant data, using the practical research and normative research, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, statistical analysis and comparative analysis, and methods of combining the theoretical analysis and policy design analysis. Firstly, this paper explains the present situation of the Erguna county territory economy development, analyzes the international and domestic conditions that Erguna county economic development is facing with, and analyzes the advantages, disadvantages and challenges of Erguna county economic development. In the end, based on the successful experience of the development of county economy at home and abroad for reference, this paper put forward the overall train of thought on the development of county economy and make some suggestions.
