A Empirical Research Of Information System Continuance Based On Trust

With the continuous improvement of information technology in China, more and more enterprise information systems, portals, knowledge management systems, online banking and online B2C systems are used by clients. Regarding to the research on the use of information system, domestic and international studies have focused on the mode of user acceptance of information system, there are such a number of empirical studies on this subject. But information systems’ developers or owner pay more attention on the continuance of the clients. The importance of research information systems continuance is that the initial acceptance of behavior is just first step for success of information system. While compared with the initial acceptance, continuance of the clients plays a key role in the success of the information system.Based on previous literature review, focused on the information systems used in the China, the a theoretical model based on the technology acceptance model and IT trust model and the hypotheses are proposed to study on the key factor and path to user continuance. We used the scientific method to define and design a questionnaire, totally five variables and22related questions are defined. Before the survey, pre-survey and researched are done on the content validity of the questionnaire. The survey to400IT employees and the enterprise IT part of the staff was done via Email or paper questionnaire. Totally304valid questionnaires are collected. With the structural equation modeling of AMOS, research hypothesis are verified and analyzed:Technology attitude plays a more significant impact on Information system Continuance Intention. Perceived Usefulness impact more significantly than Perceived Ease of Use on IT Trust. Perceived Usefulness impact more significantly than Perceived Ease of Use on IT Trust on Technology attitude. The hypothesis regarding to the technology attitude as the mediator variable is refused. IT trust owns the impact on the Information system Continuance Intention. The research verified that Technology Attitude and Perceived Usefulness are two key factors for the Information system Continuance Intention.
