After the global financial crisis in2008, the cooperation and development situation between countries around the Tumen River has changed significantly. China and Russia, Mongolia, North and South Korea, Japan, have put more efforts on the practice development. China North Eastern Railway Corridor Project, port construction in Arxan,"Lugang area" project have entered a substantive operation stage, and they were viewed as a symbol, the regional cooperation for the original river downstream upgrade to the Huge Tumen River area cooperation; it provides a rare historical opportunity for regional economic cooperation in Northeast Asia around Chang-Ji-Tu which was as a core. Among them, Korea Rajin port cooperation project which is the one of "Lugang area" project has attracted much more attention. Because, as long as the modernization of Rajin port has completed, it will change the logistics pattern of China’s Jilin province and the whole northeast. Also, it is going to be key point for the successful implementation of "Chang-Ji-Tu pilot zone" planning outline. Therefore, correctly understanding and grasping the competitiveness of port logistics service industry from the point view of port marketing will be very important for the successful completion of Rajin port construction planning and "Chang-Ji-Tu pilot zone".From the analysis of present situation of literature research and port logistics services we found that in the rapid change and fierce competition of the port logistics service industry, there are many factors affecting the port competitiveness, such as the quality of the port logistics service, port’s location, political, economic environment of certain area and so on. Therefore, based on the review and analysis of existing literature, the factors affecting port competitiveness are divided into internal factors and external factors. The internal factors include the quality of the port logistics service, physical condition, price and cost. External factors include economic environment, political environment, international shipping status, current situation of hinterland and so on. Meanwhile, a comparative analysis based on Shanghai port, Busan port, Dalian Port and other major world container port, North Korea Rajin port as an example, a case analysis was carried out. Finally some countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to enhance the competitiveness of the port of Rajin port.
