Based on the review and summary of related studies of Organizational Commitment, Perceived Self-efficacy and Perceived Organizational Support, the research adopted the Organizational Commitment Scale edited by Liu Xiaoping, the General Self-efficacy Scale revised by Wang Caikang and the Perceived Organizational Support Scale edited by Ling Wenquan to investigate the current status and differences among246IT engineers from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other cities. With the results of the research, some human resources management recommendations were proposed.The findings of this research are as follows:(1) IT engineers’ Organizational Commitment was on the medium level. There was no significant difference in Organizational Commitment with the function of gender, education background, job-hopping experience, work seniority and job position, but the difference was significant with the function of age, marital status and enterprise nature;(2) IT engineer’s Perceived Self-efficacy was on or above the medium level. There was no difference in Perceived Self-efficacy with the function of gender, age, marital status, education background, enterprise nature and work seniority, but the difference was significant with the function of job-hopping experience and job position(3) IT engineer’s Perceived Organizational Support was on the medium level. There was no significant difference with the function of gender, age, job-hopping experience and work seniority, but the difference was significant with the function of marital status, education background, job position and enterprise nature;(4) Overall and every dimension of IT engineers’ Organizational Commitment had a significantly positive correlation with Perceived Self-efficacy, overall and every dimension of Perceived Organizational Support;(5) Perceived Self-efficacy and Perceived Organizational Support could positively predict the Organizational Commitment of IT engineers to some extent;(6) IT engineers’ Perceived Organizational Support was a perfect mediator between Perceived Self-efficacy and Organizational Commitment. |
