Study On The Economic Transformation And Development Of Datong City Under The Concept Of Green Development

In the new era,facing the new challenges,the Communist Party of China has proposed a new development concept.The concept of “green development” emphasizes the harmonious coexistence between man and nature,and embodies the continuous progress and innovation of the development philosophy of the Communist Party of China.The development of the city puts forward new requirements and goals.For a long time,Datong,as an important coal heavy industry base in China,has played an active role in solving national energy supply and maintaining national economic growth,but it has also led to a series of economic and social problems.The mere dependence on coal resources has caused the Datong economy to fall into the resource curse of “promoting coal and trapping coal”.In order to change this situation,Datong urgently needs economic transformation.This article is divided into five parts.The introduction part expounds the purpose and significance of the research,shows the research methods to be used in this study,and combs and analyzes the research status of the selected topic at home and abroad,which lays a preliminary foundation for the subsequent development of the thesis.The second part describes the related concepts and theories of green development concept and transformation development theory.The third part analyzes the attributes of Datong,a resource-based city,and reviews the historical contribution that Datong has made to Shanxi and even the national economy while relying on the advantages of coal resources.The fourth part expounds the experience of Datong's exploration of transformation and development under the concept of green development and the outstanding problems in the process of further transformation and development,and analyzes the causes of these problems.The fifth part proposes countermeasures for the transformation of Datong resource-based cities from six aspects: First,we must thoroughly implement the concept of green development;second,focus on the adjustment and optimization of industrial structure,and promote the coordinated development of industry;third,driven by green technology innovation To promote the green development of Datong economy;Fourth,we must improve the green development system and provide institutional guarantee for economic transformation;Fifth,we must deeply integrate into the national development strategy and expand the new space for transformation and upgrading;sixth,we will promote ecological transformation through economic transformation.Adhering to the concept of green development,based on its own reality,Datong's economic transformation is entirely possible to explore a successful path,and believe that it can also provide useful lessons for the transformation of other resource-based cities.
