Heilongjiang Province Small Berry Industry Current Situation And Development Countermeasiire Research

The climate and geographical environment in Heilongjiang is very suitable for planting andgrowth of small berries. Besides, the abundant natural wild resources put this province in a goodposition to develop its small berries industry. Although the Heilongjiang province started relativelylate in small berries industry, yet the planting area, yield, fruit quality, standardized productionlevel, the construction of professional cooperatives, fruit storage and processing industry havecertain foundations for the development of small berries industry in the future.Small berries industry in Heilongjiang province has achieved great development, but alsofaced many problems to be solved. This research made a detailed investigation and analysis on thescientific research and sales of small berries industry; On the basis of the analysis of the problemsexisting in small berries industry, we initially put forward the bottlenecks restricting thedevelopment of the industrialization of small berries in Heilongjiang, which can be a reference forthe government to make scientific strategy. We also put forward some measures for thedevelopment of small berries industry in Heilongjiang province. That striving into processingindustry is the main strategy to boost the small berries industry, and the different regions ofHeilongjiang should chose the appropriate fruit tree according to the climate conditions.Researching methods used in the present study are investigation, inquiry, analyzing literature,comparative analysis, and comprehensive analysis. The present study conducted empiricalverifications by using on-site visits and questionnaire survey in Harbin’s suburbs, Yichun,Shangzhi, Hailin and other regions (for farmers, consumers and processing enterprises). At thesame time, we ask experts for advice about scientific research, producing and management in smallberries industry. Combined with the previous reports, we made the results as follows:1Development of small berries industry in Heilongjiang provinceIn Heilongjiang, the small berries’ influence in fruit industry enhances gradually in recentyears, and the fruit yield and production value showed a rising trend year by year. As the smallberries industry keeps a steady improvement in the province, we highly develop high-quality fruitindustry and increase the export proportion by using its regional advantages. Besides, a largenumber of enterprises were born to meet the small berries industry development. The scientificlevel of fruit tree planting technology rises obviously in the promotion of government advocacyand expert assistance; the producing pattern of small berries turns gradually from quantitativechange to quality-benefit.2Problems existing in small berries industry in Heilongjiang provinceSome issues were found by analyzing the current development of small berries industry inHeilongjiang. As the relatively lagging development and the rapid innovation of berries industry,there are lots of questions appeared such as unreasonable structure of varieties, lowindustrialization level, less leading enterprises and organizations, low technology level, lack of infrastructure, etc, which result in the loss and deviating development of berries industry inHeilongjiang.3The developmental strategy of small berries industry in Heilongjiang provinceAccording to the problems existing in berries industry in the province, correspondingmeasures and solutions are proposed in this study. In Heilongjiang province the developmentalstrategy of small berries industry should be to optimize the distribution of varieties and effectiveutilization of wild germplasm resources; increase the input of science and technology to promotethe breeding process; sett up agricultural technical school to improve the farmers’ professionallevel; improve fruit processing cluster construction and ensure the fruit market circulation;increase the governmental policy support to promote the industrialization process and keep berriesindustry of steady development.
