The rapid development of the cold chain logistics, enriches multi-temperature food circulation, improves the living standards of the people. However, there are a lot of disadvantages in cold chain logistics, such as the single distribution model, lack of delivery vehicles type, and limitations of joint distribution, which restrict the ability to multi-temperature joint distribution of cold chain logistics and result in the problems including high cost of cold chain logistics and food accidents.Multi-Temperature Joint Distribution (MTJD) of cold chain logistics adopts advanced technology, such as insulated boxes, eutectic plates, incubators and cold boxes, to achieve the purposes of joint distribution of different temperature requirements, then employs the optimal vehicle routing method to find the optimal path, and optimizes the ability to multi-temperature joint distribution of cold chain logistics. Multi-temperature joint distribution provides new solutions for continuous different temperature control logistics, which can improve the multi-temperature goods distribution service levels and customer satisfaction, and reduce the total cost of the distribution, and create more economic benefits. In this paper, multi-temperature joint distribution of cold chain logistics is defined and its characteristics. On this basis two modes of multi-temperature joint distribution are put forward:one is mechanical separated freezer compartments MTJD, the other is cool storage MTJD. In accordance with the constraints respectively, mathematical models are established and compared, considering cost factors, including vehicle costs, corruption cost, punishment costs, energy costs, route costs, as well as distribution of total costs. Finally, an example of MTJD optimization is executed to verify that MTJD of cold chain logistics can be more effective than single way.
